Due to damage and ongoing recovery efforts from Hurricane Ida we have decided to move the Cajun Jet Blast to KTVR (Tallulah/Vicksburg Airport) inTallulah, LA; which is also being hosted at the Souther Heritage Air Foundation (SHAF) Museum Hangar - https://southernheritageair.org/.
KTVR will be a great location as there is more than adequate ramp space for aircraft parking, unlimited open airspace for flying, and a 5000' x 100' runway. There is also an aircraft maintenance shop located next to the museum. Discounted fuel will be offered.
We will also host the CJAA Annual Convention in conjunction with this event on Saturday evening April 2nd.
As an added benefit to our members we will also have an aerobatic box availabe for those who are wanting to train and/or polish up on their low level aerobatic competancy skills.
Hotels will be secured in Vicksburg, MS which is a quick 15 minute drive from KTVR. For those bringing wives or girlfriends Vicksburg, MS is a very historic town. You also have the opton of securing a room and one of the many historic Bed and Breakfast locations. The closest commercial airport is (JAN) in Jackson, MS for those wishing to fly in commercial.
